Step 1:

1 ½ cup of flour

½ cup of sugar

2 tablespoons cocoa

½ cup of Milk

½ cup of oil

1 egg

Step 2

Mix well and serve tablespoon each muffin

180o Bake.

Greetings and welcome back to my blog.

This morning for our morning block the year 7 and 8's had their technology session with their three teachers which was:

-Mr Ferguson(Graphics)

-Ms Tuipulotu(Cooking)

-Mr Grundy(Hard Materials)

I am in the group of Mr Grundy and we are making silhouette and this year I have made a silhouette to my brother.I think it should go to my brother because how he has been a happy loven brother who shows his manners,be's nice and also is very thankful to have me as his big sister.

I really enjoy this weeks technology because how I got to be on this sandpaper which makes it soft then move it over to another sandpaper which makes it shiny and kind of makes it see your reflection throw it.

I am so happy for this term because how making this thing for the frist time makes me scared at first but throughout the week I have improved in learning how to do this more better then I did before.

Something that challenges me in technology is sometimes sandpapering because how sometimes I am not kind of sure if I am done or not that is why I have Mr Grundy.

Today we had technology once again and I really enjoy my technology session with my classmates in Mr Grundy's group.For technology I got to use sandpaper to make my hard silhouette soft.Next week I will be using another sandpaper but this one will be different then the one that I had used.

I was so proud of myself because how I had been the frist person to use sandpaper and to also move on to the next step which made me really proud and happy.

I really enjoy this week of technology because how I got to work hard to move on to the next level.

Something I think that was chanllenging was trying to make it soft as it can.

Something I need to improve on is putting stuff near the middle so it does not have to fall down just like how I did but I apologize for doing that.

Today I am now at TC(Tamaki College) with some of my classmates doing technology with our three teachers which is:

I really enjoy technology today because how I got to see my beautiful artwork in metal.

While I am waiting for the teacher I am working on the rest of my workbook questions that I need to answer.

Tomorrow is my favourite day of the week.

The only reason why is because how it is Thursday and every Thursday's we have our technology session and I am super excited to be working on my project that I am going to be making with is a silhouette for family,friends,ourself or even for the community.For technology in Mr Grundy's group I am making a silhouette for my brother Puanesi.The reason why is because how last year I made things but mostly gave them to my little baby brother Senela.

This thing I am making is a symbol that represents my brother loving food a lot so I have made a picture that has a dish on it.

Here it looks like.

I really enjoy making this thing because how I get to learn how to do it and what steps I need to learn to make it perfect for my brother to like.

What I find challenging is to make it flat and good so I can move on to the next step.

On Thursday the day we had whanau conference we had our technology session with the three teachers.After technology Ms Komor gave us a task which was to answer these questions that she had gave us which was:

1. Explain at least 2 things  you enjoyed about today’s lesson?
2. In what ways have you gotten better at this kind of work?
3. What problems did you encounter while you were at Technology? How did you solve them?
4. What resources/materials/ingredients did you use while working at Technology? Which ones were especially helpful? Which ones would you use again?
5. What does your work today say about you as a learner?
6. What does that tell you about yourself and how you learn?
7. What the one thing you particularly want people to notice when they look at your work?
8. One thing I would like to improve upon is …

I have completed this task by answering it.I really enjoy doing technology because how I got to chanllenge myself to try and cut metal for the frist time which was pretty hard so I had to be strong.What I find chanllenging to do was trying to cut it the most when it kept on going sideways inside of straight but I had some help from Roy which was really cool.

My next steps is to work hard on trying to get this completed for me to take home and to show it for my little brother who I am making this for.

I enjoyed seeing people try their best in trying to cut out there silhouette.

-In what ways have you gotten better at this kind of work?

I have gotten better in trying to cut out my silhouette with wood.

-What problems did you encounter while you were at Technology? How did you solve them?

Something I find difficult was cutting the curves in my silhouette which was on wood.

-What resources/materials/ingredients did you use while working at Technology? Which ones were especially helpful? Which ones would you use again?

I had to use these tools that makes my metal silhouette flat which is one of the things I will be using next week because how it helps my silhouette metal be the straight and shiny.

-What does your work today say about you as a learner?

It says that I can be focus on learning to finish off so I can take a artwork home on time for family members to see.

-What does that tell you about yourself and how you learn?

It tells me that I am a hardworker who needs to learn to maybe not talk to much and keep focus on the project I am making.

-What the one thing you particularly want people to notice when they look at your work?

I want people to see that I have did a great job on making silhouette for the first time and to also see how great it is to make for yourself,friends,family and community.

-One thing I would like to improve upon is my cutting skills because how on metal it hard to cut that I need to be careful before I get hurt.

Todaythe year 7 and 8's have their technology session at Tamaki College.I am so excited to be going to technology so I can finish off cutting out my drawing.I am in Mr Grundy's group and we are making Silhouette for people that we choose like family,friends,teachers and other people.For technology at Mr Grundy class I find it chanllenging to try and cut out my Silhouette but then I get help from Mr Grundy which makes me happy because how it teaches me how to do this because how this was my very frist time.

I really enjoy being in Mr Grundy's class because how I get to learn more about Silhouette.

My next steps into this is to try my best to cut out more better then I did today.
