In Room 7 we have been learning to write riddles. It has been really fun trying to make our riddles up and then getting peers from our class to try and guess what our Riddle is. Hope you enjoy reading my riddle.

My Maths Problem

  1. Pam has 11 bracelets.
Sue has 3 fewer bracelets than Pam.
How many bracelets does Sue have?
Sue has got 8 because fewer means less
2:Jason had 7 books.
His grandfather gave him 5 more.
How many books did Jason have then?
12 because he had 7 books and then his grandfather gave him 5 more = 12
3:Ariel made 5 Krispie Treats.
She used 8 large marshmallows and 10 mini marshmallows.
How many marshmallows did she use altogether?
8 large marshmallows
10 mini marshmallow
8+10=18 so the answer is 18
4:There were 8 cows and 12 horses at Huckins Farm.
5 horses ran away.
How many horses were left?
There were 12 houses and 5 ran away
12-2=10-3=7
Answer 7
6:Carl had 15 marbles.
His friend, Tammy, had 12 marbles.
Carl lost 6 of his marbles when he played on the jungle gym.
How many marbles did Carl have then?
15 marbles that Carl had and his friend Tammy had 12 marbles but then Carl lost 6.
15-2=13-2=11-2=9 the answer is

This is my Maths Problem that I had to solve.My group had to try and solve this problem.The 9 is for the last problem.The last problem is the answer 9 that is why that big green nine is there!Hope you enjoy looking at my work
