Last Day of School 4 2017!

Last Day of School 4 2017!

Greetings and welcome back to my blog.

I am so nervous because how today it will be the last day for school for 2017 and I am super nervous to be a year 8 because how you have to step up to be a leader for the younger kids but I think I got this by seeing what the year 8's did this year.

I am also sad because how two teachers will be leaving which is:

1. Miss Morrison
2. Miss Thompson

I thank Miss Morrison for being the best teacher to my sister Stephney and I thank Miss Thompson for teaching me not to talk in the mat when I was younger.

I really hope they will have a great year without us because how we will still remeber them.

I really enjoy having this day because how I could still make my last memory with my year 8 friends.

Needing 37 More!

Greetings and welcome back to my blog.

So you know that I want to try and achieve my goal of reaching over 500 blog post by the end of this month.Well here today I have seen that I only need 37 more blog post to be able to reach over 500.I am so proud because how when I achieve this I will be so proud because how it will be my frist time reaching and doing over 500 blog post for a month.I tried it on September and on October but I still could not achieve it but I really believe that I can do it this month.

I really enjoy seeing that I can consistently blog every time to achieve lots of blog post for this month.

What I find chanllenging with blogging is finding out what I should blog so what I do is take a look at my classmates blogs to have some ideas.

Getting 100% Attedence

Today I am going to reflect to you about how I had 100% attendance at school.I got 100% attendance because how I came to school everyday.

Right now I was the only girl that had 100% attendance.IALT:I am learning to reflect about getting 100% attendance.

Tree Planting

Today I have used the S.E.E structure witch means S for Statement,E for explanation and the other E for Example.In this google drawing I have write something in each of the S.E.E structure.For tree planting it means so much for a culture.The reason why we do this is because how it was part of Matariki. The reason why it is part of Matariki is because how it was a type of sign that was for a new beginning.

Today in Cybersmarts I have worked with Monita on slide 3,4 and 5.What we had to do was look at these blogs to see what kinds of things they did right after that we go back and highlight these boxes in green to see if they did it.He is some screenshots that I took from slide 3,4 and 5. WALT:We are learning to find out what they did right and what they did wrong.

Today we had to research some information about whitewater rafting to make us feel good since not that much people went to Whitewater rafting before.Some kids were scared after we watched a clip that people were at a forest with a boat of 6 that came down a waterfall and kids saw some people fall out.After we watched another clip that were we at they felt calmed down because how it was low.

Soccer

Today I am writing about my day at soccer on Wednesday the 24th of May.It was a great day I was in team A witch was the frist group to play before our other group.Here is a reflection about my great day at soccer with my friends.WALT:We are learning to reflect on our day about Soccer.

On Wednesday the 24th of May our school went to a soccer tournament that we had been training for.We got there by getting into teachers cars 4 kids at the time.The teachers that dropped us off were Mrs Thompson,Mrs Aireen and Mrs Fepuleai.When we got there we got to have a warm up game to get ready.After we finished playing our game at big horn will blow.

That means it's game time.Our team went first  so we vs PBS (Panmure Bridge School).It was fun but we got a tied 1:1.

After we finished that team B went to their game.After they came back they felt lost and angry after they said they lost.

When we finished our game Team A had 2 ties 3 games and 1 lost and team B had no wins,no ties and felt bad for the day.
After in the last games our teams got mixed up.Group A went against saliva park and team B went against PBS (Panmure Bridge School).

Team A lost and Team B won.It was a great game everyone stilled felt good.Yr 5 and 6 were great and said they had the funnest day at soccer since it was a great day and very hot .

Aletheia and Monita-PINK SHIRT DAY

Today I am finishing off a task on pink shirt day.Pink shirt day is a day to celebrate those kids or people who have been bullied like cyberbullying,online bullying or other.Here today I have a task that I have finished off and worked with Monita on.Each of us had a turn of each slide.In this slide of mine I have things that relate to bullying.WALT:We are learning to search up facts about PINK SHIRT DAY!

Technology

Today for technology we had switch our groups.My group for this term was Hard Metals.My teacher was Mr Gundy.Mr Gundy was a talented old man that told us what to do and what not to do.Here is a reflection about my first day with the hard metal group.WALT:We are learning to know what to do when you are doing Hard Metals

Today for technology we got to switch groups.My group for this term was hard metals.We got to meet our teacher.Our teacher is Mr Grundy.He is a talent old man that can draw and make things like cars,trucks and other things.Mr Gundy loves to take things to another level like build something he can believe to do.

Hard metals is when you build something with wood,metal or other things.When we walked in the room Mr Gundy told us that we had to be 10 year older than we are know.He said that because how we are going to use tools that only big people use.

When we walked in we got to sit in tables then he told us what we need to do to make things out of woods since we are using wood.It looked easy but then when he told us it wasn't because it takes time to make something with wood.

We learnt that the tools we use can hurt us bad that it can make a cut.When we finished talking about that we got to draw things we wanted to build.Mr Gundy wanted us to think out of the box to go for something else since people built things like cars and tucrks.One thing we had to do with our designs was described to Mr gundy what can we use this for.

Maths

Today In Maths I have finished off with one side of my maths.My silde that I have finished off had 10 questions for me to answer.I had to answer the question it was time tables and was for Maths.here I have a screenshot of my time tables that I have completed. 

Aletheia and Monita and Kensington-Four Food Groups Presentation

Today In room 9 Me and my group which is Monita and Kensington are doing our inquiry on the four food groups.The four groups are Meat,Grains and cereals,Dairy and vegetable and fruits.In this presentation of ours it will have 12 slides that our group had completed.WALT:We are learning to research about the four food groups.

Malo Lelei my name is Aletheia.I go to Tamaki Primary School.I am in room 9 and my teacher is Mrs Komor.I love playing soccer.My favourite number is 24.I love to eat KFC.My favourite thing to do with my family is play sports.My favourite teacher would be Kelly.She is very fun,lovey and is a okay teacher.My best friends are Kensington,Monita,Helen,Alone and Bianna.

My Highlight

Today I am going to tell my highlights about 2017 with my class for term 1.

My highlight for 2017 was making my confidence built up to do some speeches about my work.What I love about 2017 was letting our whole class participate and contribute into activities.

My best highlight about 2017 was having the best teacher ,teach us.

Reflection

Today Me and my group have reflected on what we saw when our school went to Te Oro to present what we did at Tamaki Primary.Here is a reflection
WALT:We are learning to reflect about our school going to Te Oro

Today some students from Tamaki Primary school went to Te Oro to present them what our school have learnt.This year Tamaki Primary presented something that shows Ko au te awa ko te awa ko au that means I am the river and the river is me. It was a amazing performance in the first part because of one of our students had made a rap then he got his rap showed up on the screen in our video that we showed well we were performing.

After that two students came out and presented there lovey work and there name were tevta and keneth it was so so cool and after that Siale came out and they all were sing their lovely song and the person who wrote it was sione, liti the song was called  e otua tataki au and that was a really nice song and  they had the confidence to contribute and to participate and also to show all of our values

And there were fabulous.

While the show went on other people from school came to watch them live at 9:50 on the manaiakalani website that has all the hangouts on air. We also watched at the school, We were watching it live. The boys were drumming while losana and Ana were singing, and all of them were wearing lava lavas.

WHAT WAS GREAT ABOUT OUR SCHOOl?

What was great for me was seeing our school show our school values in front of lots of people that will be watching.Well it a great school and it show respect and also
