Tomorrow is Thursday and I am so excited to be seeing that tomorrow we have another session at technology with the 3 teachers that is:

Ms Ferguson(Graphics)

Mr Grundy(Hard Materials)

Ms Tuipulotu(Cooking).

I really enjoy doing technology with my group which is in Mr Grundy's group making some Silhouette.

What I find chanllenging to do in technology with Mr Grundy is trying to cut to make my Silhouette but I get most help with Mr Grundy that teaches me more about this.

PB4L In the Toliet!

PB4L In The Toilet!

Greetings and welcome back to my blog.

So sorry that it had took to long to blog something but I am back to do more blogging and today I am blogging about PB4L in the toilets.We did this because how in the toilets the cleaners have to clean up messes that students make which is sad.In my DLO I have written down:

What types of things should we see in the toilet?

What types of behaviours should we see when we are going to the toilets?

How to show Whanaungatanga in the toilets?

How to show Tukumarie/Rangimarie in the toilets?

How to show Manaakitanga in the toilets?

What types of behaviours should we not see in the toilets?

How to show Ako in the toilets?

I really enjoy doing this because how I got to be creative with colours and images into my DLO.

What I found chanllenging to do was trying to change them into postive things to show in the toilets but then I had good ideas that came from my mind which was good.

Greetings and welcome back to my blog.

I have just came back from doing maths with my classmates and groups.For maths we had to get in groups with 3 or 4 people in it.In my group we have:

1. Me
2. Mary-Jane
3. Kensington
4. Stephney

In my group we had to try and furige out the maths problem which is:

The world record for Men's shot put is 23.12 metres.The world record for women is 22.63 metres.

What is the difference in metres between the two records?

In our group we got the answer of 49 because how 22.63+49cm=23.12.

I really enjoy doing maths because how I got to see and hear people's different strategies to how they solved this problem and others.

What I found chanllenging was trying to furige out the answer which was really hard but then when my group friends explained it to me I had understanded.

Cricket Reflection!

Cricket Reflection!
Greetings and welcome.

Yesterday in the middle block.Bloth classes had to be split and home group one went to music while home group 2 had cricket to go to.We played cricket so students can practice until there cricket tournament is on which is on the 21st of March.

I really enjoy playing cricket because how I got to have fun with my class and also work as a team.

What I found chanllenging to do was bat the ball because how the pitcher throwed the ball to fast.

Maybe next time I could work on trying to get the ball instead of just dying in the sun.

This week on Wednesday we had another self defence lesson with our teacher Julie.Julie is one of the people who teach others to defend their self when they get hurt,kidnapped or abused.

Here today I have finished off my reflection about self defence.

I really enjoy doing the self defence because how I got to learn some moves that were good to use whenever I am in danger.

What I found chanllenging with the self defence lesson for this week was trying to understand more.

My next steps is trying to scream loud whenever we are thinking that we are actually being kidnapped.

Maths Test Reflection!

Maths Test Reflection!

Greetings and welcome back to my blog.

Today in the morning for home group 1 and 2 we had to all do our pat mathematics test.When I heard that we were doing our maths test I was kind of nervous because how maths is not the strongest thing I am good at.Today I have made a reflection based on the maths test that we did.On my reflection I have written down:

1. What types of questions did you find easy?
2. What types of questions did you find challenging?
3. What do I I think I need to improve with my maths?

                           

I really enjoy the maths because how I got to see afterwords on what I need to improve on when I do this again.

What I found chanllenging to do was trying to solve the maths problems that told us to answer what types of shapes equals what.

Something that can help me develop is learning more maths than I do like doing homework.

What types of  questions did you find easy?

What  I thought was easy trying to solve problems with lots of numbers on.

What types of questions did you find challenging?

In the maths test I found it challenging to try and answer questions that had squares on.I did not really knew what it ment but I tried my best on it.An example on that was when it had said 3+4=.

This effected me by being nervous to see if I knew or didn't knew the question

What do you think you need to improve on with your maths?

I think for maths I need to work on is learning my multiplication.I think it is good to learn multiplications so I can solve things more faster.An example for this is when it said something like 8x16=? But I figured it out because how I knew what 8x8=64 and then 8x8=64 then 64+64=128.This affects me by making me happy to learn some more multiplications.
