Our Play!
Today we went off to Te tuhi and performed our play which we had choreography by ourselves and here today I am going to show you our scirp to me,Rosemary,Akih and Monita's play about the three little pigs.I really enjoy doing this because how I got to practice on my acting skills,my speaking skills and my confidence skills to speak to my audience.
Here is our scrip that me and my group work together to write down.
The three little pigs!
- Narrative(Aletheia)
- First Pig(Rosemary)
- Second Pig (Akih)
- Third Pig(Rosemary )
- The big bad wolf (Monita)
Aletheia:Once upon a time there was an old mother pig who had three little pigs and not enough food to feed them. So when they were old enough, she sent them out into the world to seek their fortunes , and the three little pigs went off to go and build their own home.
Aletheia:The three little pigs made a house out of straw, sticks and bricks.
Then, when they finished building, they relaxed until a big bad wolf went pass the first house which was made out of straw and he said...
WOLF:Open up your door before I will huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow your house down.
Aletheia:The first little pig didn’t open the door, then the big bad wolf huffed and he puffed and blow down the house.
Aletheia:Then what the little pigs did was go off to the second pigs house.
The second pig's house was made out of sticks.
Akih:Welcome to my home made out of sticks.
Akih:Come in my house and make sure you close all of the doors so the big bad wolf doesn’t come.
Wolf:Open up the door before I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow your house down.
Aletheia:They refused to open up the door.
So the wolf huffed and he puffed and he blew the house down.
Rosemary (Third) pig:Welcome to my house,my house is made of bricks and it is as strong as ever could be.
(Aletheia) Narrator:So they waited for the wolf to go by and he said…
(Monita) Wolf:Open up, if you don’t I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow your house down.
(Aletheia) Narrator :So he huffed and he puffed but the house didn’t go down.
(Aletheia) Narrator :So he huffed and he puffed but the house didn’t go down.
He huffed and he puffed and it still didn’t go down.
He huffed and he puffed,he puffed and he huffed. And he huffed, huffed, and he puffed, puffed; but he could not blow the house down.
At last, he was so out of breath that he couldn't huff and he couldn't puff anymore. So he stopped to rest and thought a bit.
The wolf danced about with rage and swore he would come down the chimney and eat up the little pigs for his supper. But while he was climbing on to the roof the little pigs made up a blazing fire and put on a big pot full of water to boil. Then, just as the wolf was coming down the chimney, the little piggies pulled off the lid, and plop! in fell the wolf into the scalding water.
So the little piggies put on the cover again, boiled the wolf up, and the three little pigs ate him for supper.
(Three little pigs)-Yummy yummy!!

What I enjoyed about this playing was having to act which was really cool. What I did not enjoy was having a lot of parts to speak but then I got thru it by believing myself. What I found challenging was trying to speak up since the room was so big and the audience was not that close just like how we were presenting in class.Maybe next time I should be looking at the audience than just looking at the paper and reading.
